Educational Talent Search (ETS) Program

The Educational Talent Search TRIO Program serves young people in grades 6 through 12. In addition to counseling, participants receive information about college admissions requirements, scholarships, and various student financial aid programs.

This early intervention program helps students from low-income households (where neither parent has graduated from college) to better understand their educational opportunities and options. While many financial aid programs help student overcome financial aid barriers to higher education, TRIO programs help students overcome class, social, and cultural barriers to higher education.

Trinity Higher Education Corporation's ETS Program services over 600 students each year through partnerships with 7 Chicago Public Schools. Over 387,604 Americans are enrolled in 471 Educational Talent Search TRIO programs nationwide.
