THEC MLK Historically Black College Fair

Friday and Saturday, January 16th & 17th, 2009 – 9 am to 3 pm

Martin Luther King, Jr. Black College Fair

The THEC MLK Historically Black College Fair is a celebration to honor the memory of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., a graduate of Atlanta's Morehouse College. The annual forum brings together more than 7,000 students and parents to meet representatives from over 60 of the nation's Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) over the course of two days.

Free to the public.  All high school and junior college students, - anyone with the desire to learn about HBCUs, are welcome!

The event is hosted each January by Trinity Higher Education Corporation and Trinity United Church of Christ.

MLK Fair Support Opportunities

Sponsorships
The level of sponsorship may include college scholarships distributed in your company's name, company name and logo incorporated into printed materials, press releases and advertisement, public relations press opportunities highlighting the sponsor's role in the event, invitation to the VIP reception and speaking opportunities at all events, acknowledgement in media coverage, and event signage.

Volunteer Services
The sponsoring organization will provide meals and transportation for volunteers for varied THEC programs. The sponsoring organization will receive special recognition on fair promotional and reserved signage.

Scholarship Reception
The sponsoring organization will host the scholarship reception. The host will receive special recognition on invitations and reserved signage.

Fair Promotional (Fair T-Shirts/Gift Bags)
The sponsoring organization will place their company logo/slogan on the back of the fair T-shirts. These highly visible shirts will be worn by fair volunteers and given to all college fair representatives. The company logo/slogan will also be inscribed on the fair bags given to everyone who attends.
